Skyline Plot Synopsis

In the sci-fi thriller Skyline, strange lights descend on the city of Los Angeles, drawing people outside like moths to a flame where an extraterrestrial force threatens to swallow the entire human population off the face of the Earth.

The first trailer for Skyline has arrived (see above) and here’s the  surprising thing: The posters weren’t just metaphorical.  You’ll see an image which shows people being sucked up into the sky by an alien light. We assumed this was just a reference to alien abductions and not actually something that would be happening in the movie. We were wrong. You’ll see exactly that in the movie’s trailers, alien ships sucking people up into the sky like giant vacuums. And here’s the really amazing thing: It doesn’t look stupid. In fact, it looks really amazing.
